How to fix the Cisco ISE error message “some of the fields on the profiling configurations tab contain errors”

This short article will guide you with the fix for the error message that you might get when enabling the device admin service in Cisco ISE 2.1

Problem

The error message is “some of the fields on the profiling configurations tab contain errors”” and below is the screenshot of the error message

Solution

The error message is due to a BUG that has not been published yet – however, the fix is quite easy

Go to the Deployment and then Configurations tab

check the AD probe box to enable it.

-change the days before rescan to 1

-unchecked the AD box to disable.

Then you can save the page and enable the device admin service
