(Resolved) How to fix the CiscoAnyconnect ‘failed to create session manager entry’

Sometimes when trying to connect via Cisco VPN client, you may get the following error message ‘Failed to create session manager entry’  and it does not logs you in

There is quick fix for this one as you can choose to repair the client – in the task bar you should see the Globe icon for Cisco Anyconnect – right click on the globe in the task bar in the right corner and choose repair and this will run thru the process where it will reset the connections and re – enable the connection again

You can also see more details by opening up the CiscoAnyconnect NAM module and right clicking the three lines and choosing “Manage networks”

Choose “Network” on the left side and the “Message History” tab to get more info on the details on the time frame and steps

Thanks for reading this
